The Global Seafood Alliance (GSA) is exhibiting once again this year at Seafood Expo Global (SEG), scheduled to take place at Fira de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, from April 23 to 25, 2024.
Attendees are encouraged to visit GSA stand 5F201 or register for the GSA Stakeholder Update & Luncheon in Room CC1.1 at the Fira de Barcelona on Wednesday, April 24, from 12 p.m, followed by lunch at 1 p.m. The program will open with presentations recapping 2023 performance and 2024 focuses for certification programs, followed by updates on select special projects, technology, consumer marketing, and the Responsible Seafood Summit. After the presentation, there will be opportunities for Q&A, and the program will conclude with a light luncheon. RSVP at the form below.
Join us for a casual happy hour event at our booth from 4-6 PM on Tuesday, April 23! We’ll be partnering with Seafood Scotland to celebrate our upcoming conference in Scotland this October. Enjoy networking, refreshments, and a taste of what’s to come—everyone is welcome!
Both Melanie Siggs and Amy McGann, GSA Director of Strategic Engagement and GSA Director of Social Responsibility respectively, are speaking during the SEG conference program this year. Their session will address crew well-being on board fishing vessels. The panel discussion is titled, “Crew Well-Being on Fishing Vessels: How Can the Market Provide Assurance of Best Practice and Support Change?” and is scheduled for Wednesday, April 24 at 4:15 p.m.
Additionally, supporters of our certification programs are encouraged to display signage in their exhibits. Certified facilities are welcome to stop by the GSA stand, or our staff will come to your stand and drop off signage for you.
The 30th edition of Seafood Expo Global will take place in halls 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and the Galleria between halls 4 and 5 at Fira de Barcelona. Last year, SEG saw over 34,400 attendees, as well as 2,078 exhibiting companies from 87 countries at Fira de Barcelona’s Gran Vía venue.
