GAA Exhibiting At Aquaculture America 2015
The Global Aquaculture Alliance is exhibiting at Aquaculture America 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, from Feb. 19 to 22. GAA is also among the event’s association sponsors.
Organized by the World Aquaculture Society (WAS) in conjunction with the National Aquaculture Association, the U.S. Aquaculture Society and U.S. Aquaculture Suppliers Association, the four-day event features a trade show with about 300 exhibitors and a conference program with more than 50 sessions.
Held at the New Orleans Marriott, the theme of this year’s event is “Aquaculture—Center of the Plate.”
GAA and its Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division are exhibiting in booth No. 337. BAP Director William More, BAP Program Manager Betty More, GAA Relationship Manager Sally Krueger and Marcos Moya, manager of BAP’s facilities development business unit, will be in attendance.
Later this year, WAS is organizing the Middle East Aquaculture Forum in Dubai, UAE, from April 5 to 6, and World Aquaculture 2015 in Jeju, South Korea, from May 26 to 30.
The inaugural Middle East Aquaculture Forum features a two-day conference program with dozens of speakers, including Ahmad Al Ballaa managing director of National Aquaculture Group (NAQUA) and chairman of the Saudi Aquaculture Society. Early this month, NAQUA became the Middle East’s first company to earn BAP certification and one of only 15 companies worldwide to attain four-star BAP status.
